She had Alzheimer’s disease. I told her “goodnight” and she said, “Oh, goodnight…” I thought to myself, “whoever you are” because she didn’t know who I was. That was eighteen years ago.
I wrote this book to keep myself sane. I laughed and cried while writing it. I hope you do the same.
